Harmony & Refinement with Curated Design
Olea Mare Villa is a home that tells the story of patience and evolution. Unlike projects that aim for a single grand reveal, this villa was transformed in stages, aligning design progress with the rhythm of the family’s life. Long-time residents with three young children, Phillip and Tammy had filled their home with functional purchases over the years but lacked a guiding vision that could bring harmony and refinement. Studio SuCo’s role was to provide that vision and execute it deliberately, with each summer holiday marking a new step in the journey.

Over two years, the villa was reshaped piece by piece. Entryways were rebalanced to set the right tone, the living areas softened with layered textures and lighting, and the master suite elevated into a sanctuary of calm. Outdoor zones were also reconsidered, ensuring a sense of continuity between interior and exterior life. Custom furniture, refined layouts, and carefully selected finishes gradually brought cohesion, until every return from travel revealed a home that was both familiar and quietly luxurious. The result is a residence that flows seamlessly, offering the comfort of a family home with the elegance of timeless design.
Designer's Note
Some projects are about speed and impact, but Olea Mare was a slow, intentional unfolding. Working within the family’s rhythms allowed us to approach the design with greater depth and consideration, ensuring that every space felt authentic to the way they lived. There was no sense of rush, and because of that, nothing felt imposed or unnecessary. The home now carries a natural ease, as if it had always been designed this way. It balances the energy of family life with the serenity of curated design, creating a villa that is timeless, lived-in, and distinctly theirs. For me, this project reaffirmed that luxury is often the result of time well spent, where each detail is given the space to mature and find its perfect place.
