La Collecion began as an act of restoration. The client approached us after experiencing a disappointing and unfinished design process that left her with a space that felt fragmented and incomplete. She needed more than a designer; she needed someone to take full ownership of the project, to refine what existed, and to finally create the home she had envisioned. Carrie stepped in at this delicate stage, bringing both technical skill and sensitivity to guide the villa from frustration to fulfillment.

Our work spanned from architectural refinements—such as reworking layouts and lighting—to the careful selection of finishes, materials, and custom joinery. Each intervention was designed to restore balance, light, and flow to the home. Once the foundation was corrected, we turned our attention to layering richness through textures, curated objects, and sophisticated styling. At handover, every detail was complete, from cabinetry and wall finishes to the accessories, linens, and even the fragrance that filled the air. What began as a project in distress concluded as a home imbued with warmth, elegance, and a sense of belonging.

Designer's Note

This project carried an emotional weight beyond the technical demands of design. For Mrs. Hussein, the process up to that point had been exhausting, and my role was not only to bring the vision to life but also to rebuild her confidence in the journey. I focused on clarity, comfort, and elegance, weaving together tones, textures, and light to create spaces that felt both restorative and refined. The reveal was deeply moving. When she saw her completed home, she wept with relief and joy. That moment remains one of the most memorable in my career, a reminder that design is not only about aesthetics but about creating environments that restore trust, dignity, and happiness.
