From the outset, Polo Vista Villa was envisioned as a residence that would weave English heritage into the fabric of a contemporary Dubai home. Beginning from shell and core, the project expanded by nearly 4,000 square feet to include a new pool house, reimagined living areas, and an internal flow that better supported the rhythm of family life. The ambition was not only to create a larger home but to design one that held meaning, balance, and longevity.

Louise & Spencer Manuel
One of the defining gestures was the transformation of the central courtyard into a sculptural staircase that now serves as the heart of the villa. This intervention established scale, drama, and timelessness while connecting every level with a sense of grace. Throughout the interiors, neutral palettes were layered with hand-scraped wood, bespoke joinery, and textured finishes to create depth without unnecessary embellishment. Each space was conceived to flow naturally into the next, ensuring that the home would grow with the family and stand the test of time. Delivered turnkey and fully styled, Polo Vista Villa is not just a residence but a legacy home, designed for both present comfort and future memory.
For Louise and Spencer, the vision extended beyond aesthetics. They wanted a home that carried their values and traditions while embracing the life they were building together in Dubai. My role was to bring a quiet elegance to that vision, balancing heritage cues with contemporary simplicity. The house was designed to feel rooted yet refreshed, timeless yet relevant. The process was deeply collaborative, grounded in respect for tradition but guided by a desire for light, texture, and flow. Watching the family inhabit the home today, with its balance of comfort and refinement, is a reminder that the best design is not about trends or spectacle but about creating spaces that hold meaning across generations.
