AyoUdo Villa represents the story of how a late-stage intervention can completely redefine a home. By the time Carrie Das was invited to the project, the structural framework, MEP works, and base finishes were already complete. From that point forward, every aspect of the interior was entrusted to us. We designed and delivered bespoke joinery, carefully selected furnishings, soft finishes, lighting, and kitchenware, and even curated the appliances. By the time of handover, the villa was not simply built; it was a finished home, styled and staged down to the smallest detail, ready for the family to move in and live comfortably from the very first day.

Private Residential
The brief asked for a home that was clean and contemporary, yet inviting and memorable. The clients desired an elevated environment that their friends and family would admire, while also reflecting subtle aspects of their Ethiopian heritage, particularly in the family lounge. To achieve this balance, we worked with natural textures, refined detailing, and a disciplined design language. The result is a residence that feels fresh and modern while still carrying a sense of warmth, identity, and cultural depth.
Entering a project at such a late stage can often be challenging, yet it also offers a unique opportunity to demonstrate focus and agility. Once the trust of the clients was secured, we were able to orchestrate every element of the interiors into a seamless whole. This home embodies quiet sophistication, with spaces that feel complete and resolved without ever appearing overdesigned. It is both composed and deeply personal. One of the most rewarding moments was witnessing the family arrive with nothing more than their clothes and walk into a villa that already felt like their own. Every corner, every utensil, and every piece of furniture had been thoughtfully placed to reflect their personality and lifestyle. For Carrie Das, this project is a testament to how design can create not only a space but also an immediate sense of belonging.
