Stylized Refresh with Customized Flair
Apt Exquisita was conceived as a personal reset, a chance for the client to align her living environment with a new phase of life. Sanjana, an art collector and close friend, wanted her home to reflect not only where she had been but where she was going. The apartment’s architectural shell remained untouched, allowing Studio SuCo to focus entirely on interiors—layering intention, texture, and restraint into spaces that would both showcase her art and nurture her growth.

The design embraced a monochromatic palette that created a calm and cohesive backdrop, allowing her diverse art collection to command attention without competing elements. We introduced a blend of accessible upgrades and carefully chosen investments: bespoke joinery, artisanal accessories, and handcrafted ceramics from a local maker. Styling leaned heavily on her existing objects—books, mementos, and decor—which were reorganized and layered in a way that felt collected rather than staged. The result is an apartment that is serene yet expressive, timeless yet deeply personal.
Designer's Note
This project was less about decoration and more about creating an anchor for Sanjana’s evolving story. She wanted a space that felt both grounding and aspirational, one that reflected her artistic sensibilities while offering room to grow. We designed around her collection and her energy, ensuring that every addition had a purpose. Nothing was placed without intention, and nothing was superfluous. The result carries a quiet confidence, a clarity that resonates with her journey. When Sanjana later shared her personal milestones—a major promotion and an engagement—shortly after the project’s completion, it felt like her home had been the right canvas for her transformation.
